Very curious about London, the documentary. I wonder if I can watch it online. I haven't read Cymbeline, but, to be honest, I have read only very few of Shakespeare's plays. There was a time when I thought of actually reading all of the plays, but the more I delved into Victorian culture, the more my readings concentrated on 19thc literature. But I still want to read at least a few of the plays. Richard III being one.

I had the same experience with Shakespeare! I read quite a few for my studies and planned to read them all, but then I got distracted by the Victorians. I have tickets for As You Like It and Macbeth later this year. I read both many years ago, but will revisit before I go. Hoping to get stuck into more plays in 2024.

When I was doing my major in Languages, Shakespeare was all I expected from British Literature. I was in love with the bard back then. Yet I was deeply disappointed. Very poor content. I got to read Macbeth, but I didn't learn anything from the classes. Hope you enjoy your tickets and share your insights with us later.

I enjoyed reading and seeing the vivid imagery of your garden.

Thanks so much. I enjoy this time of year in the garden most of all. It isn't too hot yet and my favourite flowers are just coming into bloom.
