Reading your description of the Hotel de Paris I could almost see myself standing there. Sounds like a wonderful place for a holiday. I hope you can make it some day and that your computer is back to work soon.

Thank you Diana. My files have successfully transferred and I'm up and running again. Such a relief! The Norfolk coastline is a wonderful place, it still feels untouched in many places.

I am so sorry about your computer. I feel terrible for you because I understand. I just finished re-reading Jane Eyre. And your photograph is beautiful. Frame-worthy.

Thanks so much Despina. I'm just getting to grips with the new computer now and hopeful that everything has survived. Phew!

Thank you. It was very old so not a surprise, still quite terrifying when it happens though! Hoping my files have survived.

How lovely to remember one of the grand seaside hotels - thank you. I have always had a dream of sitting on a window seat in a bay window, overlooking the sea. I would be cosy and warm, with a cup of tea and a book, every now and then looking up to watch the sea crashing against the shore.

That sounds wonderful Kate. There is something so calming about watching and listening to the sea. I would love a window seat at home, I like the idea of reading and watching the rain.
