There's so much that could be said about all I've read here. I remember watching a live video on feminism in horror films that was very interesting. Its was part of a local film festival here, and it discussed how most women are still portrayed in horror: as victims with no agency. Its slowly changing, but there is a problematic relationship between violence and sex that needs to be addressed. I mean, why do we need those scenes of women being murdered while having a bath, changing clothes or sleeping in their underwear? Brainwashed is not available here, but I got The Eternal Daughter on Stremio.
